Dasha Rush is preparing a new audio-visual performance, Aurora Cerebralis.

Dasha will premiere the new project at the Berliner Festspiele event on September 15, followed by the Lunchmeat Festival in Prague in the same month.

A completely different mind game: From generative images of cerebral activity and neural connections, Dasha Rush creates a dance on the threshold of simulation and stimulation, because images from our nervous system also change the perception of physical space. In Aurora Cerebralis, images and sounds are desynchronized and synchronized in real time, and complex spatial sound evokes transient, neurological light that alters our perception of time by the same measure as it bends or expands real space. Dasha has developed her audio-visual performance alongside digital artist Alex Guevara and will celebrate this world premiere at the conclusion of Berlin Art Week.
